  1. Served as campaign manager, engineer, and volunteer coordinator for a congressional race in Los Angeles

  2. Offered grounded and empathic presence; heartful prompting and reflection; and prayer-song to hundreds of patients in hospice care

  3. Facilitated natural disaster relief for islands in the Caribbean and Indonesia, which helped rebuild schools and infrastructure

  4. Organized leadership conferences for youth to support education, health, and career development in New Jersey

  5. Implemented research-based interventions in elementary school classrooms and promote healthy academic behaviors with Bay Area community partners

  6. Started a philanthropic non-profit organization to support high school students pursuing fine arts degrees in college

  7. Worked as a liaison between college professors and low-income Bay Area schools to organize and train student volunteers

  8. Founded a step dance team in high school to platform Black culture and address racial suppression during the first Trump administration

  9. Reactivated a local club affiliated with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to increase access to community service, such as American Cancer Society and American Heart Association walks and supporting the elderly in nursing homes

  10. Served as a Dalai Lama Fellow to design and facilitate a college class on ecological styles of leadership

  11. Inaugural member of a research initiative under the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education at Stanford aimed at improving accessibility and equity in college education

  12. Translated and interpreted between Mandarin and English at Taiwan’s first feminist bookstore

  13. Collaborated with bay area city planning departments to analyze the effects of climate change on housing development

  14. Presented academic speeches at Harvard University, the American Association of Colleges & Universities, the United Nations’ 67th Convention on the Status of Women

  15. Published a poetry collection for a wrongly convicted, incarcerated artist on death row in California

  16. Founded a legal aid organization to support artists navigating the carceral system
